Unfortunately, a portfolio does not constitute good references.

Some programmers claim the work of other people, knowing that the potential customers will not check out the work behind the portfolio.

What does this mean?  It means that some programmers will find good work and place links in their portfolio.  We’ve seen this done before and make this suggestion, when viewing a portfolio and considering a web or graphics designer:

Ask for the contact information for the website owners.

Not every website owner will want to share this information, but any good programmer will have developed sites for people that would be very happy to share the praises of the designer.  The designer should be more than willing to share at least a few names and phone numbers with you.

If they can’t provide references, you may want to move on to another designer.

Contact us for a list us references and visit our site and portfolio, today.

Time is Money!

This saying has been around for many years and it is very true.  Your time is valuable and wasting it costs your money.

For example, spending two hours trying to save $10 is not worthwhile if you earn $15 an hour.  You would loose $30 while trying to save 1/3 that amount.

Web design is no different and many hours are wasted by programmers that are unable to complete a job.  They spend YOUR TIME and you spend your money and ultimately the project ends up being completed by another, more competent, programmer that is capable of doing the job right.

At WebsitesForLess, we can handle all your needs and will not waste your time or money.  Before you waste either, take the time to setup a free phone consultation with us.
